We have a new logo and I can’t get it out of my head or off my mind!
Dozens of submissions came in and each one had something unique and creative to offer, but I kept going back to the kid with the bucket on his head. There was something about it that made it stick. It was memorable. It was fun. It was creative. It was adventurous. It was Bucket List Publications! The design is from Jemma at jemmyp.wordpress.com and it exemplifies Bucket List Publications.
The basic idea is that the bucket represents a helmet, symbolizing adventure, travel, and new experiences. It also reflects a sense of fun and personality – the idea of a child parading around with a bucket on his head pretending to be a knight or whatever your imagination can come up with. It’s about going out with your head held high and achieving what you want, whether that be traveling the world or simply having a good day at work. It’s about the adventure that everyone of us experiences – life.
It works; like the “M” or “Golden Arches” represent McDonalds, I’d like the Kid with the Bucket on His Head to represent us. Thank you, Jemma for your imagination; it is the creative minds like yours that turn a name into a brand.
Like the kid with the bucket on his head, I want to explore and achieve greatness. I want to travel the globe, explore new cultures, find unique adventures, and teach my daughter that we don’t have to live in a world with restrictions. That’s why I entered the Biggest Baddest Bucket List contest. Regardless if I win or not, I’m having a blast envisioning what 2013 will bring.
