My Destination’s Biggest Baddest Bucket List contest is well under way. With 2364 votes, I’m currently in second place, but I’m hopeful. I realize that the top five with the most votes go on to the next round but I’m not satisfied with second place. Does that fit with my philosophy the more unrealistic I am with my dreams and goals the more I’m able to achieve? I don’t think so! Some people create a bucket list because they are dying; I created one because I want to live. This contest will change my life in ways that I didn’t even imagine possible. It’s the ultimate contest in dreaming.
Here’s the deal:
I can win a six month, six continent, all expenses paid trip; oh and don’t forget the $50,000 when I get back! Travel and adventure encompass my life. It is as much a part of me as family and friends. I was born for this competition. You have been following my adventures and many of you have become like family. Now, I need your great social media skills at their finest.
You can find my entry here: http://www.mydestination.com/users/lesley/bbb#tab
I can win with your help. I need people to like it on Facebook, Tweet it, Google +1 it, Stumble it, and pin it on Pinterest. Each click counts as a new vote. I’ve shared it with my community and they’ve responded with great enthusiasm. I recently had an interview with the Cape Breton Post and The Halifax Herald. This is the Cape Breton Post interview; watch for The Halifax Herald interview to appear soon.
