Top 5 Extreme Adventures – #4 Sky Jumping from the Stratosphere Las Vegas Hotel & Casino!

In the last few years, I’ve participated in the most extreme adventures that I could imagine. Even my wedding day included a little bit of rock climbing and a trip up the trapeze ladder to swing my way into married life. You may have a different opinion of what constitutes an extreme adventure, but I’ve narrowed it down to my top 5 extreme adventures based on sheer fear, nervousness, excitement, and potential to crap my own pants.

Falling in the number four spot is the Sky Jumping from the Stratosphere Las Vegas Hotel & Casino!

Have you ever stood in the window of a massively tall building and looked down only to worry about the horrific fall if something were to go wrong? The Stratosphere Las Vegas Hotel & Casino brings those nightmarish thoughts to reality and puts the Sky Jump in the top four spot of extreme adventures.

Atop the 1,149-foot-tall Stratosphere is a controlled free fall Sky Jump similar to base-jumping. The weird thing is… it is none of these things that make Vegas part of my top ten cities in the world. With legendary remnants from around the globe, the most luxurious resorts, unbelievable shows and entertainment, and endless new adventures, Las Vegas has made my top ten. Continue reading

Gondola Ride – Venetian Resort, Vegas

An authentic gondola ride from a Sicilian at The Venetian, Las Vegas is a truly romantic experience. I only wish I had of recorded his Italian serenade to us. From the soothing sound of water lapping the sides of the gondola to the eloquent singing of the gondolier, we felt as if we had been transported to Italy.

These proprieties, all meet the highest standards for hospitality, service, and accommodations. Planning a getaway in the USA, Canada, the Caribbean, or Mexico couldn’t be easier. I wanted to put one of the hotels to the test so I chose the largest 5 Diamond resort in the world – The Venetian & The Palazzo in Las Vegas, Nevada. With spectacular suites, top shows, exquisite dining, and an abundance of amenities, The Venetian Resort offers it all; it is a center piece, a piece de resistance, for Vegas. During our four night stay, we were able to experience all that Vegas is known for and has to offer by visiting just one resort. Continue reading
