I’m going to rock Riviera Maya for the next four days! No kids, no husband, and all time told in Pina Coladas. This resort is so big that it took me two Pina Coladas just to walk from one end to the other today. (Or maybe I just like drinking lots.) Check it out for yourself and follow along at #HardRockFAM2014.
Thanks for hosting me this week, Hard Rock; I’m ready to play!
We’re water bums. From 9 am to 7 pm, we were in the water today at Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas. I asked Athena if she wanted something to eat for lunch and she said, “Can I eat in the pool?” When I told her no, she said she wasn’t hungry. I can’t attest to much else at the resort today except the pool temperature was ideal and the ocean was spectacular. Continue reading →
When I first visited Santa Monica Pier, I felt like I was on a movie set. What are your top five bucket list items? Share your list with others, making it more likely to come true. I’ve successfully completed hundreds of bucket list items from flying a jet pack to traveling the world and I achieved them by creating a yearly list. The more unrealistic we are with our dreams and goals, the more we are able to achieve. What’s on your list?
If you’re not on the beach right now, it’s time to start saving for a vacation. Here are 20 beach photos to get you in relaxation mode. Do you recognize any of the destinations? How many have you visited?
Some people create a list because they are dying, I created one because I want to live! I want every day to be better than the last and every day to be the best day of my life. Is that completely insane? Ridiculous? Good! Last year’s bucket list included unrealistic dreams like visiting 10 new countries, reaching 20 million blog views, attending NBA All-Star weekend, and night snorkeling with manta rays in Hawaii. But I want this year to be even more outside of the box. I’d like your suggestions. I currently have 25 items so I need 25 more. I don’t have endless funding or access to private jets or yachts, but I do have an incurable drive to make all of my dreams a reality. What’s an extreme adventure that I’m missing? Where is the best, family-friendly, travel destination? What’s something so bizarre that I just might want to give it a try? Help bring my 2014 list to new heights. Continue reading →
