Do you dream of visiting Fiji? Is it one of your bucket list items? Seeing as I’ve been to Fiji and you’ve followed along with my adventures, I’d like to give you the opportunity to follow in my footsteps as well. Fiji Airways officially launched as Fiji’s national airline, retiring the ‘Air Pacific’ brand. Nalin Patel, the airline’s Chairman says, “The name ‘Fiji Airways’ proudly represents all Fijians and all that our 333 beautiful islands stand for – we are honored to be Fiji’s flying ambassador to the world.” And I am honored to work with Fiji Airways to give away two round trip tickets to Fiji via LAX. June 29th Update: The winner has been chosen for the XShot contest. She has been notified. If I don’t hear from her in the next 3 days, I will choose another winner. Thank you to everyone who has entered! Stay tuned for more contests and giveaways including two free tickets to Fiji!
I’m always trying to find innovative products that will make my travel life easier so when I noticed a friend in Fiji with a camera extender single-arm that stretched out to allow him to be in the picture, I knew that it would be on my product bucket list. The XShot camera extender includes you in the pictures that you take! With the XShot you can capture a full background instead of just faces and because the XShot extends over 3 feet, you can have up to 10 people in the picture! It closes to 9 inches for easy transport and it’s a durable metal that only weighs 5 ounces! Perfection! Do you want to win one for yourself? Continue reading

As one last big push for votes in the Biggest, Baddest Bucket List Contest this week, I’d love to open up the lines for interviewing and posts about Bucket List Publications and My Destinations’s Biggest, Baddest Bucket List Contest.
In the last year, I made 8 bucket list dreams come true for my readers. Skydiving, heli-skiing, piloting a helicopter, driving a NASCAR, riding in a limo, enjoying a spa day, touring wine country, and attending a ballet were all items on the bucket lists of my readers. I found ways to sponsor them or offer their dreams for free. All they needed to do was show up and live a bucket list dream day. This year I hope to do the same for at least 5 more readers. It’s one of the greatest feelings in the world to be able to help others accomplish their dreams. It’s amazing how much what you can do for others actually does for you. Continue reading

With 30 days until entries close, I am currently in 2nd place in My Destination’s Biggest, Baddest Bucket List! There is a lot of contest left though and I’d like to remain at the top of the pack going into the next round. I’ve been working hard to maintain my status, gaining interviews with the Cape Breton Post and the Halifax Herald, but I still need your regular votes.
