My Destination’s Biggest, Baddest Bucket List contest has the largest prize in travel history, offering an around the world trip and $50,000. I’m still in awe that I have an actual chance at winning. It would be the accumulation of my lifetime of dreams come true. To explore new countries, cultures, and adventures is as much a part of my life as family and friends. I’ve been contacted all week about interviews; I answered hundreds of questions and spoke with travel writers from around the world to spread the word. With 6 days left to vote, it’s actually starting to feel like a possibility. I’m going to win a trip around the world and $50,000… with your help of course.

The more unrealistic we are with our dreams and goals, the more we’re able to achieve!
My life list is ever-changing, always growing; that’s why I create a yearly list. My 2012 Bucket List included things like fly a jetpack, swim with whale sharks, experience aerobatics in a biplane, and delivery my baby girl. My 2013 Bucket List is well under way; there are 50 items on this year’s list so I have a fun year ahead.
Overall, these are the things I’d like to accomplish in my life. I usually choose from these each year and add new ones as I see fit.
“The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences.”

Some people create a bucket list because they are dying, I created one because I want to live!
With 30 days until entries close, I am currently in 2nd place in My Destination’s Biggest, Baddest Bucket List! There is a lot of contest left though and I’d like to remain at the top of the pack going into the next round. I’ve been working hard to maintain my status, gaining interviews with the Cape Breton Post and the Halifax Herald, but I still need your regular votes.
My Destination’s Biggest Baddest Bucket List contest is well under way. With 2364 votes, I’m currently in second place, but I’m hopeful. I realize that the top five with the most votes go on to the next round but I’m not satisfied with second place. Does that fit with my philosophy the more unrealistic I am with my dreams and goals the more I’m able to achieve? I don’t think so! Some people create a bucket list because they are dying; I created one because I want to live. This contest will change my life in ways that I didn’t even imagine possible. It’s the ultimate contest in dreaming.
We have a new logo and I can’t get it out of my head or off my mind!
Dozens of submissions came in and each one had something unique and creative to offer, but I kept going back to the kid with the bucket on his head. There was something about it that made it stick. It was memorable. It was fun. It was creative. It was adventurous. It was Bucket List Publications! The design is from Jemma at jemmyp.wordpress.com and it exemplifies Bucket List Publications.
