You’re my hero! Noticed you gave me a thumbs up on my blog…which led me to you! Whatta treat to read about your amazing adventures…you rock! I plan on being you in my next lifetime. Figure a gal who can eat a entire mega burger has gotta be a pretty cool chick!
Congrats on the baby, that will be your greatest adventure ever! I would love to gift you a print for the nursery (I’m an artist who adores whimsical positive images). Just click to my site http://www.cindydeluz.com and pick out whatever calls to you and the babe. It will arrive will a loving prayer attached…..consider it “angel mail”.
Keep living life to the fullest and making us smile out here!
Hugs~
Cindy
P.S. I subscribed to your blog…I’m sure you’ll hit 5,000 peeps before you know it. Woo Who!!”
I know I’m over emotional because I’m pregnant but your kindness has brought me to tears.
I have a large appetite for food as well as travel and adventure. McGreevy’s gave me all of that in one little package. I hope that others can find a place where they feel so free that they are liberated enough to let their spirit show.
Becoming a mother has already been my greatest accomplishment and has brought me more happiness than I ever imagined possible. Seeing my precious daughter for the first time on ultrasound was the most beautiful image I’ve experienced, and feeling the flutters in my stomach each time she moves or kicks brings on a smile that lasts all day. Creating her room with my husband has, yet again, confirmed my deep love and respect for him. He has given everything he has into creating something beautiful for her and there are no words to express how blessed I am to have him in my life. I am living in my “happily ever after”.
Your site, http://www.cindydeluz.com, Cindy DeLuz Mixed Media Artist, is reflective of my greatest feelings and emotions. The “Getaways” section is like you’ve read my mind and put it to paper. You have a “LOVE IN LAGUNA BEACH” piece that is a perfect fit for my husband and I and our journey in Laguna Hills. We consciously thought about if we could live anywhere in the world, where would it be. We choose Laguna Hills as our dream location and it was here that our love created our precious baby girl that is four months shy of being born. Countless evenings and weekends are spend strolling along Laguna Beach
dreaming of our future together. Your FISHERMAN’S WHARF piece is reminiscent of my childhood days growing up with a fisherman grandfather and living in a fishing community. If any one person has changed my life for the better, it would be my grandfather. He is strong, supportive, loving, giving, and more understanding than Jesus himself. He’d give everything, and often has, to make us happy and bring joy into our lives. Anyone that has ever been graced with his presence sees his beautiful spirit and is a better person for
knowing him. Your SUNDAY ON THE BAY piece shows my husband and I before we
moved to California. He taught me how to sail and showed me the ocean from a different perspective. It was while sailing that I learned of his patience and relaxed demeanor and realized that I was falling in love with the man of my dreams. Your YOUNG AT HEART pieces are the personification of my mother. She has taught us how to remain young and enjoy the simple things in life. I will forever be grateful to her for instilling that in me. Your HOLIDAYS pieces are a step back
into my past in eastern Canada filled with snow, family-made snowmen, decorating, and Santa Clause. But it is your ROYAL WINGS – LIVE YOUR DREAMS that combines everything that has shaped my life. If your offer stands for a gift print, I choose that one! I keep returning for another look and a reminder of the amazing times that are to come with my daughter and my husband. We’re creating a family that will always live our dreams.
P.S. I’ve reached over 850 followers and the number is rising thanks to wonderful believers like yourself.
Thanks for the encouragement and a link to one of the most beautiful sites I’ve ever seen.
May your days be filled with happiness and laughter.
Lesley

The letter and your response are both beautiful. Thank you for sharing. The best of luck to your family and the birth of your precious. I blog about the joys and pains of parenting. With three children, I can definitely that the joys will, by far, outweigh the pains and make up for pains brought by life. My children bring me stress but take away so much more than imagined.

P.S. You have a gift with words….add “write a book” to your bucket list. All of us in cyberspace would definitely pre-order a copy. Seriously, I can see you and Athena signing books in New York at Barnes and Noble! What a great read it would be! You have an important story to share with the planet….especially for women. Congratulations on your baby! You’re entering one of the greatest adventures of all.
No matter how many cool adventures you’ve done in the past, they’ll be nothing compared to going on adventures with your kid when he/she is old enough to do things with you.
I’ve done lots of things in my life and been to many different countries as well, but nothing was cooler than taking my son on some hiking/rock-climbing adventures along the coast in Rhode Island this past year.
The best is yet to come for ya.

Germany was a great place. I spent three years there while in the Army. Most of my travels were through the southern part, from the northwest tip of the Black Forest and then going south and east through the country. Lots of castles and old ruins to visit and wander through.
Probably my favorite country thus far to visit has been the UK. Mostly I’ve been in England and Scotland, with a tiny bit of Wales and the West Coast of Ireland. All very beautiful, lots of history, and some of the world’s finest ales.

Such a lovely communication of emotions! Really touchy one.. I had witnessed the birth of a beautiful baby gal to my sis last year and the experience is really overwhelming. Now she has grown into this little cute curious hyperactive naughty baby and she is just loved at first time by everyone whenever we go out. A darling she is! Hope you also have a beautiful angel like her soon. BTW thanks for going through the bamboo shoot blog. Hope you enjoyed reading it and gonna try sometime when you include North-east India in your next adventure trip. Till then you can try the dish with canned bamboo shoots (i.e. if you really wanna have a totally different food experience!).

I don’t follow many blogs because I tend to think I don’t have time. But reflecting on that thought, plus the fact that today one of the blogs I do follow suggested following more if you’re avoiding it because of fear of lack of time (bingo!), I started wondering who to follow? And how I would know the “right” ones and find ones I really loved since so many blogs are out there? A bit of perfection kicked in right behind the lack.
I didn’t think anymore about it since housecleaning was next on my list until I took a break. I checked my email to find your “like” on one of my blog posts. Next, I read the special note from Cindy to you and checked out her whimsical site. Within hours, I’m now following two new-to-me blogs. I love signs and wonders!
