Submissions to

With 293,720 hits and 8,480 followers in less than 6 months, I’ve decided to start outsourcing some of my posts and I’m accepting submissions!

Submit your travel posts and bucket list adventures along with photography to Bucket List Publications at [email protected]. All authors/photographers whose articles are chosen for publication will receive publication at, a link to their blog, and a link on my Facebook page Lesley Carter – has an average of 80,000 views a month, 8,480 followers, and around 3000 readers a day!

Please submit articles on the following subjects:

Travel Adventures

Extreme Adventures

Top Tourist Destinations

Bucket List Adventures

Articles should include at least 3 pictures and up to 10. Pictures should be sent as jpeg attachments rather than embedded in a word file. Maximum size per email is 10mb so if you’re sending many large photos you can use multiple emails.

Your submissions do not need to be original posts. You can submit already published works as long as they are your own content. I do ask that all submissions are in Microsoft Word format and all photos are sent as jpeg attachments.

Remember to include your name and a link to your blog at the bottom of the text.

Send submissions to [email protected].

I’ll start posting submissions on Friday, January 20th, 2012 and post regularly.

Thank you and I look forward to reading your Bucket List Publications!

  1. Okay, so what are you going to do next week? Just kidding–you always stretch our horizons and what we believe ourselves capable of doing. An extremely good thing, Lesley!

  2. Love the list Lesley. I see numbers 81 and 126 don’t have items attached yet and am deducing that means you haven’t been to those places???! I’m Irish, living in NZ, you need some ideas? Let me know! We’ll come up with some good stuff down under down under!

  3. Loved reading this and got some nice flashes of memory as I checked off some items on the list that I have done: 22, 23, 36, 42, 52, 53, 63, 65, 75, 80 (should refine to camp on the beach in Hawaii!), 102, 103, 107, 115, 116, 117, 119, 121, 122, 123 (get Kayaking in the FL keys in here…), 127 (see Kyoto–so beautiful–stay at a ryokan, go to an onsen), 128, communicate without language, hula, true love, marriage, kid, blog… I wish for you all these adventures and more!!!

  4. Hi Leslie:

Thank you for liking my post. I hope you can follow my blog as my goal is to gain as like-minded people concerned about the refugee crisis in Lampedusa and immigrations issues in Europe as possible. Thank you again for liking! Keep up the great work with your blog!

  5. Cool blog! Thanks for liking my Hawaii post. My aunt Carolyn has done many of the trips on your bucket list. If you’re interested in reading some of her stories and seeing the pictures, you can check her out at She’s been on all 7 continents and to something like 130 countries now.

P.S. I’d love to learn to blow glass too. Something about that seems randomly cool.

  6. Great list! I may have to steal a few of the adventure items 🙂 I have a 101 in 1001 list started, but I guess I need to expand it to a full bucket list! Thanks for the motivation! Also, I love the idea of outsourcing posts… great way to keep things exciting and save you some time. Hope you’re doing well Lesley!
