Cake is rich, fun, indulgent, satisfying and delicious! Cake Lingerie embodies these very same emotions. Cake Lingerie is an Australian designer brand, specializing in the creation of luxurious maternity lingerie, nursing bras, sleepwear, and nightwear. Inspired by vintage old-school glamour, Cake intimates are classically styled for timeless appeal and created to exude femininity and elegance.
Cake was born in 2008 when its founder; Tracey Montford yearned for beautiful lingerie during her pregnancy. All she could find was matronly, high cupped, uninspiring and unflattering products, which did nothing for her self esteem and pride, during this period of vulnerability. She chose to do something about it herself; designing Cake Lingerie to give pregnant and breast-feeding mothers an opportunity to feel feminine again.
I recently had the chance to review the adorable Blue Berry Torte Camisole, and I fell in love with Cake! Made from luxurious modal and cotton, this nursing camisole is essential for every pregnant and breastfeeding mom. Moderately built-in shelf support ensures for a secure but yet non‐restrictive feel, and the feeding clips guarantee easy feeding without giving up style. With gathers in the front and sides, this ultra feminine and comfortable nightwear is astonishingly beautiful to touch, soft and stretchy with room for a growing tummy and baby. Not only is it perfect for pregnancy and nursing but you can wear it well beyond that. It fits nicely and is so soft you don’t want to take it off. With astonishing attention to detail, this gorgeous camisole proves that you can look and feel fabulous without giving up fashion or luxury.
Cake Lingerie empowers women to celebrate their newfound curves with graceful elegance. This is the most comfortable camisole that I own; it looks awesome and makes me feel good. I cannot say enough positive things about it. All of the items sold by Cake Lingerie are lovely!
I have the feeling that you can’t wait to be a mother!

I wish I had Cake Lingerie when I was pregnant! I had to wear extra large granny panties and boring nude colored granny bra’s. Many of my girlfriends are getting married / having babies now … I will tell them to get Cake!

I totally agree! Maternity and nursing clothing can be expensive and hard to find. With great companies like Cake, why not celebrate the expecting mother as well 🙂

Just think, we used to believe pregnancy had to be covered up. Now we celebrate the power of creating a new life. Goddess is right.

At age 73 now I had my babies back when we tried to keep covered up. I knew it was a beautiful time but yet I couldn’t show it. I’m envious. Oh by the way, I have a little doll buggy just like the one in your picture! I think I’ll take a picture of it and put it on my blog, allinthedayofme.wordpress, com and hope that you get to see it! I got it from my mother-in-law and who knows where she got it!

Though I have yet to experience pregnancy first-hand, I have always thought there something mysteriously alluring about a woman’s body with child. That a body is capable of creating life, growing it, and birthing it . . . I am awed and humbled. This lingerie is adorable and sexy — both of which a mother-to-be should feel during pregnancy. 🙂
Congrats to you, Leslie, on your soon to be baby girl!
Blessings,
Cara

That’s awesome! I always made do with my regular lingerie while pregnant, which worked because I didn’t gain a ton of weight, but still, having something a bit more accommodating would have been lovely! Next time, I guess 🙂
