Making Your Bucket List Dreams a Reality
Skydiving appears on most bucket lists around the world. It is the ultimate adventure.
After my skydive with Skydive San Diego, I was left with feelings of euphoria. I felt like I could conquer anything and I was ready to explore a world of possibilities without restrictions.
In cooperation with Skydive San Diego, Bucket List Publications Magazine is giving away a free, tandem skydiving adventure with Deluxe Video and Stills!
After a brief training session, you will skydive with a tandem instructor. Freefalling for approximately 1 minute, you will taste adventure you never thought existed! Your instructor will deploy the parachute at about 5000 feet, and you will then enjoy a 5-6 minute parachute flight over Southern California’s stunning scenery. Landing softly in Skydive San Diego’s grassy drop zone in front of your friends and family, you will be presented with a First Jump Certificate to proudly display!
Your tandem skydive includes:
- Pre-jump instructional class
- One tandem jump harnessed to a professional Instructor
- A scenic 5 to 7 minute parachute flight
- A First Jump Certificate
- Deluxe Video and Stills
HOW TO WIN:
Refer to the rules and regulations at Bucket List Publications!
Exciting!

Wow. Awesome photos. While this may well be a standard on most bucket lists now, it’s still a bit too extreme for me — the faint of heart.

My boss who is in vacation has just sent me an email about her skydive adventure. And how I envy her! I don’t know if I can ever cross this off my bucket list. Can’t join either. I am way too far from the US of A. 🙂 But for those who’ll join your contest, good luck to them all!

Ha – this looks absolutely bloody terrifying! Since I made the decision yesterday to stop worrying about every little thing and get on with things, opportunities like this have accosted me from every side. So I will enter and, if I win, will beg, steal or borrow the money to come to California to take up the prize!

I love your sense of adventure, but I think I’m too chicken s–t to try this one. I’ve always been more of a feet-on-the-ground kind of girl. 🙂

Hi Lesley!
I`m glad you enjoyed listening to my music! 🙂 It seems it`s the right music to jump out of planes and do other very risky things! 😀

I completely agree with you! I went skydiving a few years ago. It was something I had always wanted to do and finally I just said I need to do it and stop thinking so much. I even got 4 of my friends to go!!! It was an amazing experience and all of us had an amazing time. Once we all landed we wanted to jump again! Thank you for this post! Also, I absolutely love your blog!!!!

That looks so cool! You undoubtedly are having a most amazing time on your adventures from what I can see. Haha…I would enter the contest, but knowing that my heart feels like it is going to jump out of my chest and my eyes become teary when I’m on amusement park rides that are much lower in altitude, I’m not sure if it would be a good idea for me to try skydiving. Keep living life adventurously!

Hey! Thanks for liking my posts, I went skydiving about two years ago and man! It was scary in different ways than I thought, mostly the tiny little airplane we flew up in and then having one leg in and another out on the wheel and my tandem partner says “ok we’re going to fall, 3-2-1” and we fell into nothingness! And then I was fine, I just didn’t like the pain in my ears afterwards, but it was definitely a worthy experience!

Should have been Drafted in 1968 like I was…army sent me to jump school for free, although it was off a static line, not free fall. Floating down is fun…but being shot at or landing in a tree…not so much (chutes were not controllable).

No but not too far – the state of Oregon – about as far southwest as you can get before you are in Northern California. I have the means to travel but I am unfortunately going to be in Wisconsin that week visiting relatives and friends and checking on my consignment shops-a little pleasure with my business!
Wish I could but I’ll consider it later…it looks to be a blast and I may consider it when I get back!
Take care and keep on having fun – it only gets better when you are a mom! You have so many great moments ahead of you that bring me back to my early days of motherhood – it goes by just like skydiving – oh so fast! Enjoy all the first’s…first smile, first word, first roll over, first crawl -it goes on and on. It sounds like this little one is going to learn early on to take each day and make the most of it – have fun, be adventurous – wow, what a lucky baby!!
Enjoy life and it sounds like you do just that!

I’ve always wanted to skydive, but never found anyone who wanted to go with me! Plus, the price tag is a deterrent for someone stuck in the muck between college and gainful employment. I imagine it would be quite the rush!
