You can now submit your own articles to Bucket List Publications for publication! It’s easy to create your own account (two short steps), upload your article and photos, and await publication to over 30,000 readers a day and over 17,000 followers!
Register, become a Bucket List Publications contributor, write your own articles, and submit your own pictures. Share your knowledge and experiences with others.
How to Proceed:
Look at several articles in the magazine and become familiar with the types of articles that are published in the various sections.
Please note that a place is not an idea, and that the editor is looking for a compelling reason to assign an article: a specific angle, news that makes the subject fresh, a writer’s enthusiasm for and familiarity with the topic.
Steps to Submit:
- Register by creating a user name and a password
- Confirm account information via email
- Log in with your user name and password
- Click on the “Posts” menu item and “add new”
- When you’ve finished with your article and photos, click “submit for review”
Please submit articles on the following subjects:
Destinations/Travel
Adventures
Accomplishments
Volunteerism
Love, Romance & Family (Relating to Bucket List Items)
Reviews (Hotels, resorts, and other travel/adventure related areas)
Articles should include at least 3 pictures and up to 10.
Your submissions do not need to be original posts. You can submit already published works as long as they are your own content and your own photos.
All authors/photographers whose articles are chosen for publication will receive publication at Bucket List Publications and lesleycarter.wordpress.com a link to their blog, and a link on my Facebook page.
Formatting:
- Remember to include a catchy title
- Insert photos
- Don’t forget to check off the appropriate categories and tags
- Preview your post before submitting it for approval
- Remember to add a Feature Image
- Include a link to you blog
- Include your name at the top (Featured Writer:…)
Also, please feel free to submit your bucket lists to: [email protected]
Put “Bucket List” in the subject line.
Include your name, blog address, current city/town & country
See http://www.bucketlistpublications.com/2012/02/09/2012-bucket-list-adventure-awaits/ for an example bucket list.

Thanks for your understanding.
We’re hoping to make the whole process a little easier for readers to submit their work, but it might take a couple of days to work out all the kinks.
When it is working perfectly, it will be a much easier, quicker process.
Have a great day,
Lesley

Fantastic I love your blog! I love the whole concept. Can not wait for your baby girl to arrive. Enjoy following the journey? Has the family arrived and are you still camping? I write about family and love of them and life. I am a new blogger and am still getting my feet wet! I have just begun a bucket list. I may just give it a shot. Our next big adventure NASCAR race in Las Vegas. Thanks Leslie again.

I’m not sure what was on Shark Tank, but if it’s similar to this, I’d love to hear about it…

Great idea 🙂 If we have already used the old submission methods (E-mailing you the doc and photo attachments) within the last two weeks, is this something we should still do additionally/instead? Or is there a confirmation email that it was received?

The upload function works great now; The only minor problem I found was when using the word ‘home’ which automatically turned into a green hyperlink/prompt to the home page!
It’s almost sunrise here in Ecuador, and I am on my way to the airport to meet a group of 20! Logging off til dark-thirty! Z

Hey Leslie, sounds great. I will keep it in mind while travelling back home to the States with my 14 year old son. We’re planning on taking in a Lakers game and some spring skiing. I may look to style this as a father’s day piece.
How do you guys feel about having a humourous slant?
Good luck, Tom (doingemersons.com)
