Submit Your List and You Could Be the Next Bucket List Recipient!

It would be great if Bucket List Publications could whisk people off to exotic locations or fly them around the world. It would be a dream come true to have unlimited funds and make even the most bizarre, unbelievable bucket list items come true for my readers, but the reality is that I’m not rich and I don’t have unlimited funds for Bucket List Publications… just yet. Believe me, if a had sponsorship from a travel agency or an airline, I would definitely be taking advantage of it myself. We currently don’t have funding to cover the costs of travel or transportation. I am determined, though, and I’ve been able to set up bucket list adventures for readers from around the globe. They just have to have reasonable, creative requests.

In the last three months, this is what Bucket List Publications has done for others:

April 10-13th, 2012 – Faith and Albert of Laguna Beach, CA enjoyed a three night stay at MacArthur Place and a Cycling in the Vineyards Tour with Napa Valley Bike Tours. No Wining Necessary; We’ll Make it Happen is the discovery of California’s Wine Country by two faithful readers.

April 14th, 2012 – Chanel of San Diego, CA fell 13,000 feet above the San Diego skyline with Skydive San Diego. We arranged a deluxe tandem skydiving package with digital photos and video. Check out her journey at Skydiving was #1 on my Bucket List… and I ACTUALLY DID IT!

April 6th, 2012 – Len of Moncton, NB was delivered to the destination of his dreams, the back of a chauffeured Rolls-Royce limo with Matebele Limo. His royal experience can be found at Delivering a Bucket List Reader to the Destination of His Dreams.

March 24th – Sylvia of Woodland Hills, CA took her granddaughter to Festival Ballet Theatre‘s The Sleeping Beauty after winning two free tickets with Bucket List Publications. She experienced the most famous kiss of all time with an aspiring ballerina.

March 6-10, 2012 – Brian of BC, Canada made his powder dreams come true while heli skiing with Selkirk Tangiers. As if that wasn’t amazing enough, he also spend three nights at Revelstoke Mountain Resort and two days skiing on North America’s greatest vertical at 1,713 metres.

Do you have a bucket list item that doesn’t require transportation to an exotic location? Do you have a bucket list item that can happen near you? Do you have something that Bucket List Publications can help you accomplish? We’re here to make it happen! Maybe you’ve always wanted to try-out the whitewater rafting company in the neighboring community or maybe you’ve longed to go up in the hot air balloon that you see regularly from your bedroom window. Maybe spending a day at a local spa would be a dream come true for you; after all, not everyone likes extreme adventures. Bucket List Publications has come up with innovative ways to make your bucket list dreams a reality, but you need to come up with “doable”, local list items if you want us to make them come true. Be creative and we’ll help you scratch some items off your list.

(We are restricted to items that can be accomplished through offering advertising and coverage on Bucket List Publications. For example, companies like hotels, skydiving, whitewater rafting, sailing, flying, spas, salons, etc. are often willing to offer free services for coverage and advertising on Bucket List Publications; we can make things like that happen. All-inclusive trips or flights to other locations are just not possible at this time. Please refer to previous dreams come true for examples of possible bucket list adventures.)

  2. You’ll get sponsorship eventually… Keep on keeping on… Persistence pays off… Who knows, perhaps some of your readers will be inspired to start blogging and reblogging your posts and maybe, some airline, entrepreneur, or whomever may discover what you are doing and pitch in just for the PR effect…!

You’re doing a wonderful thing for so many… just giving people hope!

  3. Just wondering if this is available to international readers? I’m an American living in Australia and would love to explore this country that I’m living in a bit more, but I wondered what your policy entails. 🙂 Either way, this is an awesome blog and I love what you’re doing for people.

    • International submissions are welcome, but I may need specific information from you to help with the process. For example, say you wanted to go surfing on a beach in Australia. Well, if you gave me the contact information for a specific company there, the process would be a lot more simple and more manageable.

Let me know what you had in mind and I’m sure we can figure something out; I’m flexible and creative 🙂

  5. This. is. phenomenal. Amazing. Inspiring. Phenomenal.

My goodness – I’d go anywhere – just to a baseball game in the big city and get to stay in the swanky hotel with a fluffy bed and big-screen TV. And room service. With chocolate. And wine. What else is there? 😉

  7. Great initiative Lesley! 🙂 My foremost bucket list item is to spend a week relaxing at my parents place, but I just can’t find time off from work :'(.
All the best and I wish you fulfill a lot of wishes for others.. btw do you know that this Sunday is the World Wish Day! You can probably contact local Make-a-Wish foundation and fulfill a travel wish of a child suffering from life threatening medical condition.
    Cheers!

  9. Every time when I see a publication of a bucket list I’m thinking what to put on my own. So far… nothing. I’ve done way too much things already that I simply have nothing to wish for anymore.

  10. I sometimes wish I could have money only to help strangers. Most of the times I’ve needed help strangers were there for me, even just with a good word and a smile! What I do when I get the chance, is send a little letter with a souvenir and a post card, just to bring a smile in someone’s day … As for what’s on my bucket list, traveling is my very big passion, a trip to a place I haven’t been to it’s always something to look forward to!

  15. Hi Lesley!

It’s taken me a while to get reading through other peoples’ blogs, but seeing as you seem to be one of my blog’s frequent fans, I finally took a look at your site…

Wow! I’m blown away. Your blog is so inspiring!

If only I was in The States, I’d be sending you my Bucket List right this second! Hopefully one day you will have sponsors that allow you to transport people all over the world, because I know from my travels last year that there’s so much to see and do, outside of your own daily bubble.

You’re an inspiration, and I wish the Bucket List all the success possible. Hope you keep following my blog too, it’s only a baby, but I’m proud of it!

    Your new follower,

    Steph

  17. Hi Lesley,

WOW!!! What an amazing premise! I love the idea & love that you are checking items off your bucket list and helping other people fulfill their dreams.

As a youngish mom with Stage 3c breast cancer, I have become very aware of the things I want to do with my kids before I die. You give me hope that there’s a chance someone “out there” will help me make some of these memories with my little boys possible.

    Keep up the great work!

  18. I’ve been reading your blog now for a bit. I really love what you are doing in terms of chasing your bucket list and helping to fulfill other’s dreams. I wish you all the best. I have several bucket list dreams that I have fulfilled or intend to fulfill. Some are adventure filled, and some are simply life transitions such as building a successful business and working for myself. Both have risks in different ways. It’s such a wonderful achievement when one finally gets to act on a dream, isn’t it? Your posts are always inspiring. Thank you for your blog. All the best!
