Exploring Fiji, piloting a helicopter, airplane, glider, jet pack, and biplane, swimming with beluga whales and whale sharks, planning bucket list adventures for others, reaching 10 million blog views, and delivering a beautiful baby sound like a lifetime of accomplishments but they were just part of my 2012 Bucket List. The more unrealistic I am with my dreams and goals, the more I am able to achieve so I’ve created another list for 2013 with equally beautiful dreams. Some people create a bucket list because they are dying; I created one because I want to live.
2013 Bucket List:

15. Visit my family in Canada
16. Reach 50,000 subscribers
17. See an active volcano in Hawaii
18. Visit Jordan
19. Make a friend in another country
20. Do an off-road ATV adventure
21. Visit one of the New Seven Wonders of the World
22. Attend a NASCAR race
23. Visit Lazy 5 Ranch
24. Take Athena ice skating
25. Spend a full morning relaxing
26. Visit Fundy Park in New Brunswick
27. Attend a ballet
28. Visit Discovery Place Kids
29. Stay at Grove Park Inn in Asheville
30. Swim in the Red Sea
31. Go to Hawaii
32. Go to Colorado
33. Take a class
34. Sleep under the stars
35. Visit Curacao
36. Try skeet shooting
37. Find at least 5 new (to me) authors that I love
38. Ride a camel
39. Attend a press trip
40. Reach 20 million blog views
41. Visit Bermuda
42. Visit the Gulf side of Florida
43. Have a spa day
44. Tour the World of Coca Cola
45. Do a CNN Studio Tour

Wow that is some list. I’ve only done #19 and that was totally by accident. We were driving and got lost and looked up and said oh Wow there’s the White House. We were shocked b/c of the neighborhood. Very interesting. Making think of creating a list.

If you are going to milk a cow, consider making your own cheese ! There are some soft acid cheese you could make without having to purchase rennet etc 🙂

That sounds interesting. I wonder if there are options for making cheese in the Charlotte area? I think I’ll look at it more today 🙂

Nice list! I don’t know if Vermont would be a new state for you, but a visit to the Burlington area and Shelburne Farms would knock off cow milking and the corn maze! Plus, you could add Touring the Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream factory. 🙂 can you tell I’m a Vermont fan??
Good luck!!

Somewhere between being a child and being an “adult” people think that we need to be realistic and have a normal life. My philosophy is the more unrealistic we are with our dreams and goals the more we are able to achieve. It’s worked so far for me 😉
What are some of your dreams for this year?

I really wanted to travel overseas again this year but I just bought a house so that’s a much bigger financial commitment that I need to sort out first.
Thanks a lot for the inspiration! I was a little scared to write down my own list for the year but today I decided “what the heck, this is the only way something is going to happen!”. Law of attraction, right? 🙂
