I didn’t think I would ever step inside Fairmont Chateau Laurier let alone watch the Canada Day fireworks from the roof-top, the best view in Canada. I’ll explain how I got there in a full post over in the next few days, but for now I wanted to give you a glimpse of the view. I’d write more now but I’m having too much fun in Ottawa to stop for a post. This city has endless possibilities.

Oh! :S I haven’t really ever been to any fancy hotels or resorts you know! Whenever I’ve travelled I’ve tended to do it solo or stayed in hostels… Loved reading about your stay at the Hard Rock Vallarta, I would love to do something like that one day!

I look forward to hearing how the roof top view for the fireworks. I have been lucky enough to stay at the Chateau Laurier several times. I am also old enough to have stayed there while it was still a CP hotel and some of the staff had served the likes of Churchhill. The place to me was even more special back then, but I never made it to the rooftop let alone on Canada Day.
