Here’s one that a family can do. Hike to the summit of 14,110 ft. Pikes Peak. You can ride the cog railway back to the trail head where you left your car. There’s good coffee and doughnuts at the top.
Lesley, you represent what life is really all about. Your accomplishments are awesome! I’m a PADI Assistant Diving Instructor and understand in a small way the experiences that you have achieved. Keep living life, I have a tremendous amount of respect for you.
Wondering where you went soaring. Nevada. Got my license when I was in high school and though I am not current it is still a part of me. Wave soaring in Switzerland is on my bucket list. Thanks for checking out my blog as well. How did you find it?
You are my hero..ine. Can’t believe you do all those daredevils adventures. When I grew up in Brooklyn, I was fearless. I would jump from roof to roof. Now I’m nervous when I walk from my doctors garage to his office across a connecting 20 ft. walkway protected by 6 foot concrete walls. Now what on your agenda, other than normal travelling?
Hi Lesley,
If I had any guts at all I would have attempted stand-up comedy direct from the fraternity house…now I’m too forgetful.
Your new adventure sounds amazing. I wish I was a fly on the wall to enjoy watch your death defying feats ( I guess where you’re going, I’d be a tse-tse fly).
Safe trip and keep in touch,
Marty
Looks like you’re having a whale of a time. This bucket list thing is a good way to grab life by the horns, but I fear it might end up being a reminder of all the things I wanted to do but never got round to!
Hi Lesley.
You have a truly amazing blog here and your bucket lists achievements are so incredibly impressive. I noticed that you said you have done a fair bit of teaching, but may I be as bold to ask, How do you afford to do all of these things? There is so much that I want to do with my life but always find finances holding me back. You are a very inspiring person and wish you all the success for your future bucket list goals!
Kind regards
Chris

Is the pic of you with your arms and legs open, about bungee jumping? It looks high enough to make me want to go there. Where is it?

Oh, I did that one. It was fun, but I was expecting more of a free fall than just the split second you have before they catch you and lower you down.

I’m off to Bonaire for some scuba diving, then Panama for a bit, and then Namibia for a safari. It should be an adventure packed few months. 🙂
What about you? What’s next?
