Happy Mother’s Day

My Beautiful Mom

All that I am and all that I desire in my life comes from the passion, love, humor, and dedication that I experienced from my mother. She taught me how to laugh, have fun, enjoy life, dream big, and show compassion for everyone that I love. Happy Mother’s Day to the most beautiful person I know, inside and out.

I love my mother as the trees love water and sunshine – she helps me grow, prosper, and reach great heights.  ~Terri Guillemets

These are a few of the reasons why I love my mother…

1. She taught me a great sense of fashion.

2. She taught me how to swim like a fish.

3. She taught me how to dance like no one is watching.

4. She taught me to go after my dreams.

Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible.  ~Marion C. Garretty, quoted in A Little Spoonful of Chicken Soup for the Mother’s Soul

5. She taught me how to sail in style.

6. She taught me how to play games.

7. She taught me to love my family every minute.

8. She taught me how to laugh often.

9. She taught me to enjoy the outdoors.

10. She taught me how to be a good mother and now I can pass that on to my daughter.

I LOVE YOU MOMMY

  3. We are lucky to have the moms we have. We only have one. I could never do my mom justice in a single blog post/comment and I was probably one of the few who did not post a Mother’s Day tribute on Facebook (checked with Mom to see if she felt left out which she then promptly made a face and said, “No, I don’t like those! I don’t think it’s necessary.” I actually enjoyed reading all my friends’ posts but I had a feeling mine would find it corny and ask me to take it down). I was getting all emotional yesterday about things changing and she just held me as we watched Anne of Green Gables on TV (and it’s supposed to be her day, not mine!).

  6. It looks like you have a great time with your mom everyday, not just once a year.
I’m sure you had a great day, so there’s no much sense sending you wishes after the fact, but I do wish you and yours to continue being a loving family and always getting along.
