Next Up – The US Virgin Islands

St. Thomas Fly Boarding

This time next week I’ll be in the US Virgin Islands on an epic adventure that includes night kayaking, SNUBA, Magic Ice, fly boarding, horseback riding, snorkeling, and a whole lot of pool fun.

I haven’t been to the US Virgin Islands before. Though they are full of energy and adventure, I’ve heard about their sublime natural splendors as well.  I look forward to experiencing the contract between extreme adventure and extreme relaxation.

  1. That’s so funny! I just got back from St. Thomas and St. Marteen. They were absolutely beautiful, and I had a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to hear about yours!

      • Well, I was there during my first cruise, so I mostly did shopping and swimming and sunbathing on the beach. I would definitely go back to try some other things, too! I would say that I loved the people and culture of St. Marteen, but I loved the peace and calmness on the gorgeous beaches of St. Thomas (great shops, too!). They were both great. I heard about St. John but didn’t get to see it, so I can’t wait to read about what it was like!

  2. I love the Virgin islands! I went there a few times as a kid and absolutely loved it. I can only imagine how beautiful they would be as an adult. So many wonderful activities to try. I loved snorkling!

  3. Very weird timing. This afternoon I cam across a property in St Thomas online that I’m tempted to buy. This evening I find your post in my email. Is the universe trying to tell me something?
    It’s a magical place, you’ll have a great time

  5. Loved snorkeling at Honeymoon Beach on St. John! The beach and backdrop are incredible and I ended up swimming with some sting rays as well as a nurse shark, it was awesome! 🙂 The USVIs are gorgeous!
