Making Bucket List Dreams a Reality

Wadi Rum Camel Ride

If you could have any one bucket list dream come true, what would it be? What is your deepest desire? Is it skydiving over the Swiss Apls? Riding a camel to the Pyramids? Scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef? Readers of Bucket List Publications have been submitting their bucket lists and we’ve been making them a reality! Join us at GoFundMe in bringing bucket list dreams alive.

We’ve already made the following bucket list dreams come true for our readers:
1. 2 jetpack flights over Newport Beach, California
2. Driving a stock car against professional NASCAR drivers
3. Being pampered at the spa for the day
4. Wine tasting in Napa Valley
5. Heliskiing in B.C., Canada
6. Being picked up at the airport in a limo
7. Skydiving in San Diego, California
8. Two tickets to Fiji

We want to continue making dreams a reality but it’s costly. Once we’ve raised $25,000, it may take a few hours 😉 , we’re going to host a “We Make it a Reality” contest on Bucket List Publications, similar to Extreme Home Makeover but bucket list style, and give away a bucket list dream experience package. (Maybe we can find other sponsors and give away two or more! Anything is possible and I’m thinking outside the box.) Your donation could help make someone’s bucket list dream come true or it might just make your bucket list dream a reality.

After three years of traveling the world, visiting more than 20 new countries, and working with PR firms and tourism boards, we’ve made some unbelievable connections. We want to combine our resources and help others live outside the limits.

Donate a few dollars or a few hundred; we’re extremely grateful for any support. Or maybe you don’t have anything to donate right now. You can still help! Share this post with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, Google, or any other means possible. Still didn’t find an option that interests you; just share the top five items on your list below and hopefully you can inspire others to create a list. We can make bucket list dreams a reality.

The more unrealistic we are with our dreams and goals, the more we are able to achieve.

  1. I know this will underwhelm you Lesley, given the high-flying adventures you seek (go girl!), but just lead me to water… I’d love to live by the sea where I can swim and snorkel to the full extent of my heart’s (and daily fix’s) desire! Back to Mongolia’s outback, fresh air and lush greenery is a close second though 😉

  3. Camel ride to the pyramids with requirements. Warm dusk evening with nobody other than a personal group of people. Scarves around our necks flowing gently in the wind. Sipping champagne at the steps before entry. Time to explore and enjoy, no rushing, only me and somebody special floating around. Ah, the wonder of dreams.

  5. Love this idea, and wish all dreams could come true: 1) Fly to Portland, OR and travel to the Pacific coast of OR; 2) Tour Alaska; 3) Revisit Maine with lots of time to take pics; 4) Rent a villa somewhere in Europe and live the way locals do; and 5) Take my granddaughter to Disney World.

  6. I recently discovered my paternal roots start in Scotland on the Isle of Skye. I got to see my maternal roots by visiting Germany when an impressionable 21. Now approaching retirement I’m ready for another adventure.

  7. I’ve always wanted to go to Italy…see the Pieta, the Spanish Steps, The Trevi fountain, then travel to Tuscany. The ferris wheel scares the bejebbers out of me, so no skydiving, paragliding, etc. for me. But, I would like to visit my sons in Seattle and Santa Clara, go to a Giants and Seahawks game!

My laptop, unfortunately, is still down but i promise to have some posts up as soon as it is ready, in the next few days. Thanks for your patience.

In the mean time all i have is my phone and i wanted to help a friend of mine promote an amazing Competition.

A small while back Lesley made one of my dreams come true jet packing over Newport Beach. Now she is trying to raise funds to make someone else’s dreams come true. So help her out if you can it’s an amazing thing she is doing and you have the opportunity to help make someones dream come true. It might even be yours.

What’s on your bucket list? Let me know in the comments below.

  9. Just found this blog, and man is it ever inspiring. I would love to eventually travel the world, but until then I would love to take my husband to Haines and Juneau in Alaska. I took a solo road trip from Alberta, Canada to Alaska in 2013 and would love to show these two favourite places to my husband.

  12. My Bucket List:
Sky Diving at Sky Dive New England
    Finish Nursing School
Bring My Daughter To Meet the Other half of our Family In Venezuela
Have just one day to let my boyfriend and our 2 kids choose anything to do
    Have My Voice Heard!!!
I recently was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and I’m 30 years old. I am a student in school for pre-nursing. I was about to apply and take the Teas entrance exam when I got the news. I lost my job, the ability to apply and had withdraw from a class I needed, half of my friends including my sister, and not knowing how I’m going to feel tomorrow or in 10 minutes from now. I found out I’ve had it for 4 years (which I knew) but nobody believed me. I’ve made peace with it and I’m ok I just couldn’t believe who cares and who doesn’t or who doesn’t STILL believe me!! But, I have a family to take care of and that’s all I need 🙂
So I already have made a bucket list due to the fact that I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, I’m living for today and right now because I have to and that’s ok. Just thought I would share that! Thanks 😉
