Win a Hawk Eye II Pilotur Watch As a Thanks for Reading

At the Helm on Bark Europa

My greatest travel adventure yet was sailing for 22 days to Antarctica as part of the crew on Bark Europa. I don’t imagine any traveling adventure will ever be greater, although I will continue to try and match it. The trip was made possible by three fantastic sponsors including Bark Europa, Whitecaps Marine Outfitters, and Pilotur. As a thank you for reading and following along, I’d like to give you a change to win your own Hawk Eye II Pilotur watch. You can read all about the fantastic features here

CONTEST PRIZE:

Pilotur Watch

The Hawk Eye pilot watch has been developed for the search and rescue (SAR) squadron in the Danish Air Force. The Hawk Eye II is an evolution of the original Hawk Eye and has been designed to withstand arctic temperatures. It comes with an exclusive matt massive brushed steel bracelet in titanium look, a Velcro strap, and a black water repellent leather strap.

  1. I loved all the features of this watch (and I so need a watch), but I guess the following feature below is what I like best. I like that it’s unique. #PiloturBLP

The watch is produced in a limited edition of only 240 pieces, of which 140 are for civilian sale and numbered separately.

  2. When I was a child I used to live in two of Canada’s northern territories close to the arctic circle and in order to fulfill my goal of visiting every continent at least once, I would love to explore the other arctic end of the world. Reading these stories of adventure in the Antarctic are so interesting and it is amazing how modern technology is allowing the exploration of Arctic regions to be easier for more people. Thanks for the inspiration. #PilotBLP

  3. The sapphire glass is one feature I like; the other isn’t listed, but I like how easy the dial is to read. There’s a lot on that dial, but it doesn’t all run together like on some. The third feature: the easy-to-use knobs.
