Our visit to Mauritius and Constance Hotels & Resorts was filled with a multitude of color. It’s diversity, uniqueness, pristine beaches, rich culture, and varied activities left Athena and I both wanting more. But the true draw to Mauritius for me was its new shades of color that I didn’t know existed. The ocean’s blues called my name and wrapped me like a blanket. I’ve included a few of my favorites so you could experience the beauty of the ocean in Mauritius. Which one calls your name?
I love the underwater shot. Did you use an underwater camera or was this through a window?

All of my underwater photos are shot with my GoPro 4. Do you use a GoPro?

We are cruising our boat on the Caribbean for over a year starting in July, looking for a new place to live as Expats. I love that BLUE water!!

Under the Sea… Where I long to be. It’s got to be, under the sea. if just for me. (P.S. I’m singing this to Under the Sea from the Little Mermaid) 🙂

I like the 2nd photo. Plant in the foreground leads eyes to the ocean and boats, finally meeting the beautiful sky at the horizon.

Oh no… well they are ALL fabulous and pique my desire, but if I really have to choose one, then the underwater shot: it’s so utterly ethereal that it relaxes me just by looking at it 😉 You’re right, the world constantly gifts us with new shades of color to discover…

That’s my favorite too. It makes me want to stay under water forever. I need to get PADI certified this year so I can stay longer.

I really like the third one, with those flirty glimpses of red. But I needed the whole post. Pittsburgh has been dreary this winter, with grey hot rain followed by days of grey snowfall. I’m totally sharing this! 🙂 ❤

That’s a hard choice, Lesley 🙂 I guess it has to be the boats but no. 2 is a close call 🙂 Happy times to you and Athena!

Just as beautiful as I remember… I used to live in Mauritius as a child. I have always remembered it’s extreme beauty and hope one day to take my own kids back there – even if it’s just for a visit.
