Infinity pools, floating restaurants, soft, white sand beaches, crystalline water and sunshine in spades, Constance Hotels in Mauritius are a vibrant piece of tropical Paradise. What’s the first thing that stands out to you at a hotel? Is it the architectural design, the pools, the beaches, the amenities, the views, or the room options? Maybe you go for the spa or the golf or the dining? We had it all at Constance, Mauritius. It was like stepping into a luxury magazine.
These are a few of my favorite things.

You really should make it a reality, Gary. It was absolutely stunning. Where are you located? It can be a long flught but worth the wait.

Even in beautiful SoCal, I’m still dreaming about the water in Mauritius. What an amazing place. The colors will be difficult to top. What is your favorite beach destination?

Ha. I don’t have a beach destination. ❤

That was my favorite part. The colors and the warmth. We have such an amazing environment here in California, but the ocean never truly warms up.

Have you been to Africa before? It’s not the typical place travelers think of when planning for Africa but it’s worth the flight. I’ve never seen or felt water like it before.

I loved that too! Athena played on her own for at least 40 minutes before moving on. That’s impressive for a toddler. She loved it!

Coming back to California rather than cold and snow certainly helped but I still miss it today. I’m already dreaming about my next stay at Constance. Maybe I’ll try another country next time to see the variety.

This doesn’t even look real, especially the undersea photo. I’ve had some sort of glamorous beach adventure on my list for a long time, and I think the dream just got a little more specific.

When was your last beach adventure? What places do you have in mind? It’s hard to top a perfect beach. I love the ocean.

Beachfront dining was my favourite! I could just do with a sensational lobster dish served up with a side order of warm weather and sunbathing. 🙂

The fun part was that Athena fell asleep during the entire dining experience. She missed the beachfront dinner 😉

Thank you, although I can’t take much credit. It was more of a point and shot destination where everything turned out perfect. Athena could have taken the photos and they still would have been fabulous. I’m already dreaming about going back.

I would love to play golf there.

They offer great golf packages. Most of the guests at the resort were there to golf. With a kids club, even parents with young children spent a lot of time golfing. Where is your favorite place to golf?

oh my. this is such a dream vacation spot. i can imagine me just sitting there, reading, and not be bothered by anyone. not that i enjoy sun and sand, but i cherish any place that could provide serenity, nature, and a large pool to swim in.
