19 Days Until I Move into My Orange County, California Home

We’re going to be home owners in Orange County, California! It’s my wildest dream turned into a reality. Our closing date is June 30th and we’re going to move in that day. I have a busy, exciting road ahead of me between now and then, especially with a Dominica trip, packing, and moving but on July 1st I will celebrating in my own yard.

Thank you for all of the well wishes and comments the last few days. I really needed the support and encouragement. When I see your familiar face next to the comments, it brightens my day. Many of you have become close friends and you’ve shared in my ups and downs over the years. Cheers to you and your family. You have made this journey a beautiful experience.

Blogging brought the world to my doorstep and now my doorstep will be in Orange County, California.

I get to share it with you: July 1 I am also moving in to my new home! I am leaving Portland and heading out to the country. I have visions of chickens and gardens in my future. I look forward to seeing your posts and sharing the experiences of making a new place our own.

Will you be decorating your house in any travel related themes or putting up any of your wonderful photographs on the walls? Any fun souvenir on the walls or shelves? (That’s part of the fun of moving to a new place for me!)
