We’ve been discovering the best of the best for adventure, dining, accommodations, relaxation, and outdoor fun in Montreal since moving here last year and we all agreed that our favorite experience in or around the city so far has been with SkyVenture Montreal. We defied the law of gravity in an indoor freefall simulator and we knew we’d be returning soon. Our first experience with SkyVenture was in June and Cord mentioned that it would make a great birthday present.  I was elated at the thought of returning. Since moving back to Eastern Canada, my bucket list has grown substantially. There are extreme adventures and quiet trails, 5-star historic hotels and hidden cabins for rent in Canada‘s eastern regions. You can lean off of buildings, raft a tidal bore, or explore enchanted forests. There are so many unbelievable options that I’ve created an Eastern Canada bucket list.  Eastern Canada is generally considered to be the region of Canada east of Manitoba, consisting of the following provinces: New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec. Snowboarding Lessons at Mont Sutton

It’s rare that I get to learn new things alongside Athena, but last weekend we took snowboarding lessons together in Mont Sutton, Quebec. We fell together, we stood together, and we learned to carve together. It was remarkable to watch how quickly she picked it up. I thought Parc Omega was going to be an interesting wildlife encounter but it was way beyond my expectations. Parc Omega is a safari park in Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours, Quebec. A 12 km nature route takes you along lakes, meadows, small valleys, forests, and rocky hills to meet moose, elk, bison, wolves, and bears all within their natural environment.
