Bon Bini from Renaissance Curacao

Renaissance Curacao
It’s hard to believe we’ve already been in the Caribbean for more than two weeks and we’re at our last hotel, Renaissance Curacao, of this trip. After extreme relaxation and rest, it’s nice to be in the capital city of Curaçao. The Renaissance Curacao is in the heart of the city yet it can still feel worlds away when you want it to.  Continue reading

Instagram Hacked – Advice from a Victim

Instagram Attacked Advice from a Victim

This post affects over 1 billion Instagram users and it’s one of the saddest posts I had to write because I’m a victim. I used my Instagram account as a major part of my business and income stream. With nearly 150,000 followers, almost 800 posts including photos of myself, my six year old daughter, and our travels, and thousands of hours of relationship building and audience growth, it was hacked and stolen. I was trapped in an automated loop with Instagram, never actually speaking to a human or receiving any help. It was like someone broke into my house and set it on fire, burning it to the ground. Here’s what happen and a list of ways you can protect yourself.  Continue reading

Birthday Surprise at SkyVenture

SkyVenture Montreal

We’ve been discovering the best of the best for adventure, dining, accommodations, relaxation, and outdoor fun in Montreal since moving here last year and we all agreed that our favorite experience in or around the city so far has been with SkyVenture Montreal. We defied the law of gravity in an indoor freefall simulator and we knew we’d be returning soon. Our first experience with SkyVenture was in June and Cord mentioned that it would make a great birthday present.  I was elated at the thought of returning. I booked us again and we returned as a birthday surprise.  Continue reading

Longboat Key Club & Resort

Tonight’s experience at Longboat Key Club & Resort was a warm reminder of why I love to travel. Why? Because I drank my way through dinner as I got to know locals who have a membership at the club. Come along for my unedited version of Longboat Key Club.  Continue reading

On Top of the World at Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park

Moro Rock, Sequoia National Park, CaliforniaFrom day hikes to overnight wilderness trips, warm foothills to cold alpine peaks, from largest and finest groves of giant sequoias to the extraordinarily diverse plants and animals living in extremely varied conditions, the experiences in Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks are vast. I wanted to take it all in from an extreme vantage point and Moro Rock was the ideal high point. A stone and concrete stairway led to the top of this granite dome. From the top, I enjoyed sweeping views of the hills below and the wilderness to the east.  Continue reading

Eastern Canada Bucket List

Magic Mountain Little Squirt
Since moving back to Eastern Canada, my bucket list has grown substantially. There are extreme adventures and quiet trails, 5-star historic hotels and hidden cabins for rent in Canada‘s eastern regions. You can lean off of buildings, raft a tidal bore, or explore enchanted forests. There are so many unbelievable options that I’ve created an Eastern Canada bucket list.  Eastern Canada is generally considered to be the region of Canada east of Manitoba, consisting of the following provinces: New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec. These are our favorite bucket list ideas in Eastern Canada.
