We’ve been discovering the best of the best for adventure, dining, accommodations, relaxation, and outdoor fun in Montreal since moving here last year and we all agreed that our favorite experience in or around the city so far has been with SkyVenture Montreal. We defied the law of gravity in an indoor freefall simulator and we knew we’d be returning soon. Our first experience with SkyVenture was in June and Cord mentioned that it would make a great birthday present. I was elated at the thought of returning. I booked us again and we returned as a birthday surprise. Continue reading

Legoland’s Miniland New York
Legoland California recently unveiled the tallest LEGO building in the United Stats just a few days before Independence Day. Athena and I attended the special opening to get us in the July 4th spirit. Accompanied by our best friends, we watched the red, white, and blue confetti rocket through the sky as Legoland California unveiled the One World Trade Center in the newly remodeled Miniland New York, located in the park’s Miniland USA. We always love exploring the park, but it’s such a treat to experience special openings. Athena soaks up the royal treatment yet she’s always appreciative and filled with wonder and excitement. 2017 Bucket List – Coachella
California has been a magical dreamland of wonder. When I first moved here, I had visions of beaches and palm trees but I had no idea it was such an endless world of entertainment. Sure, I was aware that it was home to movie premieres and countless celebrities, but I didn’t realize that I would attend ballets, musicals, and concerts on a regular basis. One major entertainment event that reminded on my list all this time, though, is Coachella. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. From the best people watching in the world to world class art, Coachella offers numerous experiences to enjoy along with the music. So this year, I decided it was time to cross it off my list. I’ve been talking about scuba diving for the entirety of Bucket List Publications. It was on my first bucket list when I created the site and it remained on the list year after year. The fear consumed me and took over. Failure after failure, I thought I’d never actually accomplish that one check mark. I tried and had a panic attack. I tried again and still couldn’t get over it. Well, hell yes! I finally went scuba diving and it was in one of the most beautiful places in the world – Hawaii. Thanks to Aqua Zone Scuba Diving and Snorkeling Center, I can finally say I crossed scuba diving off my list for the first time and I can guarantee it won’t be the last. Continue reading
