Cancun Views from Club Med

I spent the last three days at Club Med Cancun and there are so many great activities and opportunities that I’ve been going non-stop. I haven’t even thought about posting. I’ve been too busy windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, swimming, snorkeling, swinging on the trapeze, dancing, singing, and partying to send a post. There’s so much to come, I don’t know where to start but I wanted to share a sample of my trip so far. In only two full days, this is what I was able to accomplish. What draws you the most? Southern Charm – Travel Charleston, South Carolina

Charleston, South Carolina. The name alone exudes history and southern charm.  It finds Travel Charleston North Carolina (122)its way on the top ten and top twenty five city lists both nationally and internationally. Condé Nast Traveler magazine designated Charleston a “Top 10” travel destination in the United States. TRAVEL + LEISURE included Charleston in America’s Favorite Cities of 2011, and a number of the top 100 hotels in the U.S. are located in the Charleston area, including Wentworth Mansion. Take a stroll through the city market or along one of the beautify beaches, explore the aquarium, dine aboard a dinner cruise, and relax at Wentworth Mansion and you’ll swear you were part of a movie set. The southern lifestyle and pace is awaiting around every corner.

The View from Below

Spending time in the water has been a major part of my life. It has shaped my character and given me countless hours of fun, excitement, and life-lasting memories. It shouldn’t be surprising that a love of the water was a requirement for my husband. Luckily, Darren agrees that “Darling it’s better / Down where it’s wetter”. Although we both prefer the ocean to a pool, we usually bring along the waterproof camera and make the most of the warmer, less choppy waters.
